The 2014 Tech 50: Moving Out of the Lab and into the Cloud.

EidoSearch, the pioneer in applying advanced information processing techniques to the Big Data challenges in Financial Services, today announced that Jeff Parker has been named by Institutional Investor among its “Tech 50”, a prestigious list of financial services industry leaders at the forefront of financial technology innovation. The 2014 Tech 50: Moving Out of the Lab and into the Cloud brings a Silicon Valley sensibility to Wall Street, Main Street and worlds beyond. The list appears in the magazine’s current issue.

Jeff Parker, named Chairman of EidoSearch in 2013, has an extensive history of success as an entrepreneur, CEO and investor in financial services companies over the past 30 years including his founding of Technical Data Corp, First Call and CCBN StreetEvents. EidoSearch represents “the culmination of everything I’ve been interested in, organization of information, efficiency gains through presentation of data and forecasting capability,” said Mr. Parker.

The “Tech 50” ranking was compiled by Institutional Investor’s editors and staff, with nominations and input from industry participants and experts. Four primary sets of attributes are evaluated: achievements and contributions over the course of a career; scope and complexity of responsibilities; influence and leadership inside and outside the organization; and pure technological innovation.
